The Sexuality Group within Third Order of St Francis (TSSF) has recently produced a booklet entitled ‘Exploring Diversity’.This booklet has been produced to help with an improved understanding of the implications of sexual identity for the Church, and, as part of the Order’s charitable work, is offered to the wider Church. The booklet will be available on request from Third Order Distribution, The Old Parsonage, 168 Wroslyn Road, Freeland, Witney OX29 8AQ. There will be no charge for the booklet, though donation cheques made payable to ‘Third Order of St Francis’ would be very welcome.
Corrymeela Spiritual Retreat
The Corrymeela community organise an Annual Retreat for the families of lesbians and gays, focused in particular on families who need support in relation to a family member who has recently come out. The next retreat, called Parents, Children and Sexual Identity, will be held on 18-20 April 2008. It is open to parents from the Republic as well as Northern Ireland. The retreat is a weekend, led by parents, for parents struggling
with issues around the sexual identity of a son or daughter, facilitated by Una Lount, Corrymeela Community member, and Brian Treacy. Corrymeela Community
